Developed by LEO member Elina Hoffmann, LEO alumna Katie Jordan, and Valerie Karplus and P. Chris Pistorius, this model supports calculation of the variable cost and cradle-to-gate carbon dioxide emissions intensity of iron and steelmaking decarbonization technologies. It uses an Excel interface and includes detailed documentation of input assumptions by process.
